Dear friends, brethren in Christ,

At the beginning we would like to greet you with Apostle Paul's greeting: "Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ."

         We are writing from Macedonia, from Kavadarci, a city with about 40.000 citizens placed in the central part of Macedonia. With this letter we would like to tell you about our church, its activities, and to ask you for some help in its needs. God's cause in this town has been preached almost 60 years. In the beginning it was a group of few members. Developing God's cause was very hard. In the beginning of 60–ties a house was bought with approximately 50m² on the upper floor, and 35m² on the ground. In this house a room with 35m² was adapted to fulfil needs of members in that time. Today, 40 years after, the church has 85 members and, ten years back, is facing with very serious problem of space. On the other hand the house is very old and a reconstruction of the roof construction is necessary. The church floor is made of wood and there is serious threat of breaking under the weight of members. Solving our problem we had very serious problems with local authorities. Six months ago, the new men came on the scene who had more understanding about our problems, and we got a permission to build up a new church building with approximately     240m ²  plus  35m² underground.    This church building will have a flat for our minister, room with 100m² another room with 60m² for children, and for purposes of Lord's supper and a office with 16m². We believe construction of this building will solve our problem of space for a longer period.

          So far, we have solved almost all problems facing with, but the problem we are facing now, we would like to share with you. Cost calculations show's us the sum of 90.000DM. Our people can't commend with material means, they can't commend this even in the days of apostle Paul nor in the time when we were in former Yugoslavia were our republic was one of undeveloped places. However, we have some material means, but it is not enough for construction. Therefore, dear friends and dear brethren we are making this appeal to you to, in the frame of your material possibilities to give us support as much as you can. We don't wish this appeal to be burden to you, but your free will to help.
